Sandy Springs Then and Now

The new exhibit at the Heritage Sandy Springs museum opened September 5. If you are a long time resident of the area, you will get a particular kick out of it. The theme is Sandy Springs, Then and Now. It features a technology-based presentation of well known locations throughout Sandy Springs as well as professional artistic renderings. The Exhibit will stay open for one year, and five of my watercolor artworks are featured amongst others. I was also honored to have my watercolor of the Sandy Springs towers be featured on their official invitation and banner.I also had the pleasure to meet our new Mayor and have a chat with him before his speech. He has a great sense of humor!

The museum is open every Saturday and Wednesday from 11-2. If you are interested in a group tour, contact Heritage at 404-851-9111, ext 2. Here is a link to a promotional video about the exhibit which gives you a taste of what you will see: https://youtu.be/8yISdCV-ues
